Ceramisite, also known as fused ceramic sand, Foundry sand, etc., , is a spherical sand made of bauxite by melting, blowing to balls and sieving. It has the characteristics of good sphericity, high refractoriness, good collapsibility, low thermal expansion and high recycling rate. It is widely used in various casting processes and is currently recognized as the most ideal new environmentally friendly foundry sand.
