Frozen Sand Polycarbonate Deflashing Plastic Media Blasting for O Seal Rings
1. Product Description of PC Frozen Sand
Frozen Sand Polycarbonate Deflashing Media for O Seal Rings
Frozen sand selects the imported high quality polycarbonate (PC) as material,then made into cylindrical
particles after being cut by one high-speed precision granulator; it has a very low embrittlement temperature
and can be used under -120℃. Frozen sand has the characteristics of precise dimensions, good toughness
and wear resistance, permanent antistatic.

3. Main Features of Frozen Sand
Appropriate hardness and machinability;
High polishing efficiency;
No damage to the treated workpieces;
One ideal blasting media under low-temperature and normal-temperature.
4. Main Applications of Frozen Sand Polycarbonate Deflashing Media
surface pretreatment of circuit boards and removal of spilled glue of electronic parts.
Clean the epoxy optical detector
Paint and coating removal from glass fiber, carbon fiber and resin workpieces.
Molds-cleaning for rubber, plastic, glass and die-casting,no damage to the accuracy of mold dimension
Aircraft paint removal, but retain the electroplating layer.
5. Why Frozen Sand can easily remove the deburrs of rubber,plastics,silica gel?
The burrs, overflow after injection molding or compression molding, in the surface of Plastics, rubber,
silica gel, elastomer aluminum-magnesium alloys is very difficult to remove with a general scraper,but
that above materials has the superior toughness and low embrittlement temperature.
So during rapid cooling with liquid nitrogen,that thinner burrs will quickly enter the embrittlement state,
which is cooling faster than the workpiece. At this time, sandblasting with low-temperature-resistant
frozen sand can easily remove these quicker embrittlement burrs and spilled glue.
That is why frozen sand is suitable toremove the burrs in low temperature and why it is called as frozen sand.
