1. Description of Zirconium Solicate Ceramic Beads
Zirconium Silicate Ceramic Beads are spherical and white,it has wide particle size,its
outstanding toughness,hardness,good elasticity ensures it to keep its initial shape after long
time operation.
It is widely used in shot peening application. Compared with the glass beads,its lower breakdown
rate could offer consistent peening effect.

3. Product Features of Zirconium Silicate Ceramic Beads
High Hardness and Good Elasticity
Ceramic beads has smooth surface and good elasticity,which ensures it is able to be rebounded in
multi-angles during the peening process,especially suitable for the Light Metal such as aluminium,
aluminium alloy,titanium alloy etc.;
High Efficiency &High Price/Performance ratio
The greater density of ceramic beads makes it higher modulus of elasticity and greater impact energy,
it will reduce shot peening pressure and energy consumption to get the same shot peening effect.
Compared to glass beads, the service life of ceramic beads could be prolonged at least 20- 30 times.
The workpiece treated by ceramic beads will achieve better visual effect and texture as well as lower
toughness compared with the one treated by glass beads.
No Ferrous Contamination
Ceramic Beads contains 60-66% ZrO2,there is no ferrous contamination to the surface of treatment,
its good spherical will also not damage the peening equipment;
No Hidden Silicosis danger
